Why Pitchfork's Albums List Rocked and Sucked

No Sunset Rubdown!?! Blows my mind, they had Shut Up top twenty last year, and Random Spirit Lover at least matches (and in my opinion improves) upon its predecessor. Other notable omissions: Menomena, St. Vincent, Nina Nastasia, Besnard Lakes, and (ridiculously) Simian Mobile Disco (SMD > Justice)

Sunset Rubdown - The Mending of the Gown

On the other hand, the top of the list was exceptional. Person Pitch is a deserving number one choice, unlike some other albums (cough, The Knife, cough). The Fork hit the biggies, with LCD, M.I.A., Radiohead, The Field, Animal Collective, Spoon, and Burial striking the top ten. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

I still think that overall, it wasn't the best list...leaving Menomena, Sunset, and the Shins out of any top 50 of this past year is a disgrace.

Okay, this Frog Eyes bias needs to end- what a ridiculous omission, on top of what has already been said.
