R.I.P. Heath Ledger

The 28-year-old, Oscar-nominated actor was found dead in a Lower Manhattan apartment, of a possible drug overdose. He was perhaps best known for his performance in critically-acclaimed Brokeback Mountain, as well roles in major films like A Knight's Tale and Monster's Ball. He also plays The Joker in The Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins, to be released in July. Details are sketchy at this point, but one way or the other, R.I.P. Heath Ledger.

I was completely shocked.

They’re being careful to state that if it were an overdose that it may have been accidental. Given that the drugs found near him were prescription drugs.

Don't believe wikipedia too much when it comes to celebrity deaths and near-deaths.

Yeah, it doesn't look like it was suicide and he definately wasn't at Olsen's apartment, I have no idea where that came from.

He really was a great actor though, I still need to see Brokeback. And Batman might make 400 mil in its opening day now.
